• Ruatha Hold, Benden Weyr, and the Harper Hall may be mentioned, but not used in role-play. Your character can originate from there, but you can't actually use the places in posts and the like.

• You may not use one of Anne McCaffrey's characters. Again, they may be mentioned, but only that.

• There are only five colors of dragons: green, blue, brown, bronze, and gold. Anne has told us that there will be no other sports, or any weird colored dragons in fanfiction. You can, however, have a slight variation of the normal colors (i.e. - a different color of brown, green, etc.)

• There is no religion on Pern.

• Dragon/Human pairings are as follows:
• Queen: Heterosexual female only
• Bronze: Heterosexual male only
• Brown: Heterosexual male
• Blue: 'Masculine' homosexual male; bisexual male; heterosexual male (but rarely)
• Green: 'Feminine' homosexual male; female

Just a few reminders:

• AIVAS has not been discovered, nor will it be.

• It's looking like we're going to have quite a few women playing, and not many men, so we encourage everyone to play male and female characters.
